WHEREAS a Request for Proposal (RFP) was advertised and circulated to local auditors known to service the Sudbury-Manitoulin region; AND WHEREAS the RFP closed on December 10, 2021, at 4 p.m., and only one proposal was received; AND WHEREAS the Town Treasurer has reviewed the proposal and checked references and is satisfied the bid submitted is fair and at market value; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Gore Bay Council reward the proposal received from Baker Tilly for Audit Services in the amount of $44,635.00 including HST.
